Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your Cooking Steel product! If you're not completely satisfied, here’s how returns and exchanges work:

  • Returns: You may return any unused, unopened item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping costs).
  • Used Item Returns: If an item has been opened or used, a 30% restocking fee will apply.
  • Exchanges: If you’d like to exchange an item, you are responsible for return shipping and any price difference. We’ll ship your new item once we receive the original.
  • Defective or Incorrect Items: If we made a mistake (wrong item, damaged, or defective), we’ll cover 100% of the return shipping costs and issue a full refund or replacement.

Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after we receive your return. It may take additional time for your bank to process the refund.

Shipping Address & Responsibility

  • Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address—we are not liable for lost shipments due to incorrect addresses, missing mail receptacles, or other delivery issues.
  • If an order is returned due to an incorrect address or delivery failure, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs to resend the package.
  • If the issue is due to an error by Cooking Steel or the shipping carrier, we will cover any additional shipping costs.

Shipping Methods & Timeframes

  • Free Shipping: Orders that qualify for free shipping will be sent using the most cost-effective method, at our discretion.
  • Standard Shipping: Most orders ship via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. Some orders may ship via USPS Priority Mail depending on size and destination.
  • Expedited Shipping: Single items may qualify for FedEx 2-Day Express at no additional charge.
  • Freight Orders: If your order requires freight shipping, additional services like liftgate delivery or limited-access delivery may incur extra charges beyond the base freight rate.
  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days and ship from Elk River, MN.

Tracking & Notifications

  • If you provide an email during checkout, tracking information will be sent automatically when your order ships.
  • If you do not receive tracking details, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist.
  • FedEx and USPS tracking numbers consist only of numbers (no letters).
